Telegram Says It's TON or Nothing! 📱

Looks like Telegram is playing favorites with crypto!

They just announced that all crypto wallets on their platform MUST use TON Connect.

It's like telling everyone they can only use one type of key to open their digital wallet.

Why is this a big deal?

Well, imagine if your favorite coffee shop suddenly said you could only pay with their special gift card - no more cash, credit cards, or other payment apps allowed. That's basically what Telegram is doing here!

By February 21st, all crypto apps on Telegram need to switch to the TON blockchain or they're out.

The only wallet that doesn't need to worry is Telegram's own "Wallet in Telegram" because (surprise, surprise) it already uses TON.

Some crypto folks aren't happy about this - they're saying it goes against the whole "freedom of choice" thing that crypto is supposed to be about.
